Bence Szász

Fixed Income COO, Morgan Stanley

Bence Szasz joined Morgan Stanley Budapest in 2006. As a Lead Data Strategist for the Fixed Income COO, he builds metrics that enable management to track performance and execute strategy. Since 2022, Bence has also been serving as co-head of Strats in Budapest, where his mission is to foster the development of the Strats team, particularly in the Credit and Cross Desk space.

Bence joined Morgan Stanley as an Associate in Rates Derivatives Technology. After two years, he transferred to the Strats team locally and to New York in 2010. Between 2008 and 2016, he was as a Desk Strategist for the CMBS Trading Desk, analyzing trades and building trading tools and models. Since 2016, he has worked with the Fixed Income COO on building and delivering metrics on performance, resource allocations, P&L attribution. 

Bence holds an MSc in Software Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and an MA in Economics from the Central European University.

Bence moved with his wife and four children to Budapest in 2021. He enjoys introducing his family to Hungarian culture and exploring Central Europe with them.
