We are so happy and proud to share that this year will be the 12th time that we are organising our International Women’s Day Conference.
Please mark your calendars for the 8th of March 8:00 a.m. to 17:00. The event will be held in Hungarian and English, with online interpretation.

Where do we see our children in 2034?

Women’s Day Conference for Men and Women

We currently live in a society sunk into apathy, but despite this, we must look ahead. When divisiveness prevails, it becomes even more crucial to strengthen equity between genders and enhance collaborative planning. The positive vision for our children’s future is the most powerful shared interest and goal for both women and men.
During the conference, we will explore topics such as parenthood, child-rearing, changing gender roles, diverse generational needs, through personal stories, round-table discussions and debates with our experts and guests.
Time: 8th March, 2024, 8 am – 5 pm
Location: Magyar Telekom HQ (1097 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán krt. 36.)

Founder, Managing Director @ Access4you

Balázs Berecz, economist, founder and managing director of Access4you. The social impact company – which will be 5 years old this year – was born from his experiences as a wheelchair user. Together with his partners, he has developed a concept that makes a real social impact by making it commercially interesting for businesses: access4you® is an international certification mark that provides detailed and reliable information on the accessibility of the built environment for people with mobility, vision, hearing and cognitive impairments to make their daily lives easier and for property owners/operators/tenants to achieve their business goals.

Balázs firmly believes that the first step in (re)inclusion of people with disabilities is accessibility and reliable, detailed information about it, without which none of the efforts to support inclusion can be achieved. The challenge his company focuses on is global, as evidenced by the fact that there are now 23 countries where Access4you locations are present. Balázs thinks it is important for more people to understand that accessibility is not only for people with disabilities. It can benefit people who push a pram, for the elderly people with reduced mobility, and for people who are temporarily disabled due to an accident or illness. Accessibility is, therefore good for everyone.

founder @ Női Váltó

Resilience Coach,  Trainer,  Speaker

I had to familiarize myself with the concept of resilience long before I even knew what the word meant. Now I know that this skill is a must-have for people in the 21st century. In 2018, I had a terrible car accident, leaving me paralyzed from the neck down and forcing me to live in a wheelchair. It took me five years to realize that we all possess the ability to adapt to whatever life throws at us – we just need to be mindful of the way we see ourselves, and the world around us. Finding hope in the hopelessness, I figured out how to transform a tragedy to opportunity, and rebuild my life from scratch. Today I’m grateful for being able to help individuals and teams to overcome their difficulties, and explore their strengths rising from the most challenging experiences. My mission is to contribute to a society where asking for help comes naturally, and where we look at the difficulties as stepping stones towards our development.

At the same time, as the head of the Budapest office, my main task is the growth in Hungary, the retention and motivation of Budapest colleagues. I regularly represent MSCI at conferences, CEO forums, events of HBLF, AmCham and other organizations. I am often asked how I manage my day-to-day responsibilities as a working mother when I hold full-time, high-responsibility management positions, and still manage to find time for free tie activities and sports. I would like that to stop being a question and become natural. To get there, we need to talk about everyday challenges and support each other.
