György Bovier

TRAINER, SPEAKER, CONSULTANT, COMMUNICATOR

György Bovier suffered a spinal cord injury in a car accident at the age of 17 and has been living in a wheelchair since then. After multiple surgeries, treatments, and rehabilitation, he managed to build an active life for himself. His first steps included moving to Budapest and initially studying journalism, followed by business communication. He began his career at an online marketing agency, then continued in sales and marketing, including a company specializing in medical aid distribution, followed by roles at Vodafone. Subsequently, he contributed to the development of various foundations. He is currently the Business Development Manager at Szeglet Közösségi- és Élménytér and a partner at Access4you and the Egyenlítő Alapítvány.

For several years, he has been engaged in corporate consulting in the field of employing people with disabilities. Alongside this, he gives presentations, workshops, and trainings on topics such as inspiration, resilience, change management, corporate integration, and equal opportunities. Through examples and personal experiences, György Bovier’s talks provide answers on how to utilize our innate resilience, leverage adaptability, and make sound decisions even in the toughest situations. He has been the face and organizer of several integration campaigns, the first wheelchair pilot of the Budapest – Bamako Rally; he was a member of the Hungarian Wheelchair Tennis National Team and represented Hungary in various world wheelchair tennis competitions between 2015 and 2020.
