Beáta Torda

COO of Budapest Risk Management, Morgan Stanley

Bea Torda has been with Morgan Stanley since 2007. She joined the Finance division and then moved to Risk Management in 2015. She has managed various teams during her tenure, and currently is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Budapest Risk Management. In her role she is supporting the hiring strategy, driving the department’s training & development, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and retention efforts. She has been the Risk Management Champion of the Firm’s Return to Work Program (RTW) in Budapest for the 7th year, since the program has been launched, and has been the senior sponsor of the Women Business Alliance at Morgan Stanley Budapest. Bea also coordinates the annual matching process of Budapest non-Technology Mentoring Program, actively mentoring 6-7 people who would seek career or leadership advice. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Bea held positions in Audit and Finance, is a qualified chartered accountant, holds a Master’s in Business and Economics and a Bachelor’s in Accountancy. She is a proud mom of an 11-year old daughter.
