the conference is organised by Equaliser Foundation and its supporters
on the occassion of the Equal Pay Day

We believe that the gender pay gap is such a timely, relevant, complex topic affecting a wide range of people that it is worth dedicating a conference for..

We chose the date of the conference based on the fact that Hungarian women earn on an average hourly basis 17,2% less than men, which results in a more than two month wage gap every year. So the Hungarian Equal Pay Day that raises awareness of this fact should be towards the end of October in 2022.

You should take a part in if…

  • you think it’s not good for anyone that there is still a pay gap between men and women,
  • you want to take action for equal opportunities and wages in the workplace,
  • you’ve heard of the gender pay gap, but you don’t understand exactly what it means and how it can arise when there are the same pay bands,
  • it’s a question for you why other companies are measuring, publishing and making efforts to close the gender pay gap,
  • you want to understand how your company can benefit and how to get started,
  • you want to meet professionals who are sharing their experience.
