Andrea Martens – Senior Economist, European Investment Bank

Andrea Martens is a Senior Economist at the European Investment Bank (EIB) specialising in ethical AI. She founded the AI for EIB Community of over 1,500 members. She manages the Development Data Partnership at the EIB, collaborating with technology firms including Meta, LinkedIn, and Google to leverage data for development impact.

Previously, at the European Commission’s Chief Economist Team, she led initiatives on digital price discrimination, data privacy, and copyright policy.

She holds an Advanced Master’s in Artificial Intelligence (Engineering and Computer Science) from KU Leuven, a Ph.D. in Business and Public Policy and a Master’s in Economics from UC Berkeley.

Andrea has served as Assistant Professor in Business Strategy and Economics at the University of Illinois and as a Management Consultant at McKinsey in South America. Her work bridges technical innovation with ethical governance, ensuring AI advances societal good whilst managing risks responsibly.

József Balatoni “Jocó bácsi” – teacher, writer, influencer

József Balatoni, widely known as Jocó bácsi, is a teacher, content creator, and the founder of the Jocó bácsi világa (Jocó Bácsi’s World) platform, where he authentically portrays the daily life of education for young people and their parents.

As a leading expert for the School of Responsible Parents (Felelős Szülők Iskolája), he provides practical advice and guidance to parents. In his roles as a career orientation consultant and study skills trainer, he actively shapes the future of young individuals.

A dedicated speaker, writer, and theatre producer, he strives to transform learning into a positive experience and open up new opportunities for every young person.

Enikő Gábor – Engame Academy Student

Enikő Gábor is an 11th-grade student at the Veres Péter Grammar School in Békásmegyer. She is also an enthusiastic student at Engame Academy and the leader of its creative writing student community.

Her areas of interest include literature, debate culture, psychology, and, among others, the topics of equality and social discrimination.

SZILVIA GYURKÓ FREELANCE CHILD RIGHTS ADVISER AND RESEARCHER

Szilvia Gyurkó – Founder at Hintalovon Child Rights Foundation

Szilvia Gyurkó is a freelance child rights adviser and researcher. She graduated from ELTE Budapest with Msc. in Law in 2002 and got LLM at Columbia University New York in 2007. After graduation, she worked at National Institute of Criminology (2005-2012) as criminologist and  then she was the advocacy director of UNICEF Hungarian NatCom (2012-2014). In 2015, she wrote a best-selling book about child rights and divorce. She publishes child rights related articles in online and print media; furthermore, she develops and conducts training and research projects. Currently she runs the Hintalovon Foundation that develops child rights, child participation and child safeguarding programs.

Anikó Hannák, data scientist

Anikó Hannák is a Professor and Head of the Social Computing research group at the University of Zurich. Her research examines how digitalization influences people and society, and how algorithmic systems can be made safer and more transparent. Since technology often serves profit, this frequently conflicts with the values of equality and safety. Her early work has also influenced American and European policy decisions.

Edina Heal, founder and leader – Equalizer Foundation

A senior executive experienced in managing change, fostering innovation, inspiring a diverse workforce, and creating motivated and effective teams. Forbes Magazine has selected her as one of the five most influential women in the business category. Her personal goal is to create equal opportunities for women and men.

Réka Janosik, Executive Director in Research, MSCI

Réka Janosik is the Head of Financial Engineering in Budapest at MSCI. MSCI is a financial services provider that supports global institutional investors in their decision-making with indices, data, and analytical tools. Réka’s team specializes in the analytical validation of models. Réka began her career in this same team and has since accompanied and supported the evolution of expectations towards models—the responsible integration of AI into processes and products being the next milestone in this journey. Réka holds a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Corvinus University of Budapest.

Adorján Korenyi – Head of Core Engineered Systems at Nokia

Adorján Korenyi has been with Nokia for 25 years and currently leads the integration of Nokia’s 5G core systems while managing complex international projects. As the Hungarian sponsor of Nokia’s StronHer initiative, he is dedicated to supporting women’s participation and advancement in the technology sector. He firmly believes that diversity not only fosters fairness but also creates more successful workplaces.

Zsófia Linczmayer, Associate Partner, Advisory – KPMG Tanácsadó Kft. (KPMG Advisory Ltd.)

Zsófia Linczmayer has been working at KPMG as an Associate Partner since 2023. As a Head of Business Line, she is responsible for leading the following advisory areas: corporate treasury consulting, data analytics and modeling, and managed services, the latter of which she also leads at a CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) level.

It is particularly important for her to operate as a leader along values such as diversity, equality, inclusion, respect, transparent communication, collaboration, goal-orientation, recognition, accessibility, and excellence. She believes that creating a culture based on the right values is everyone’s responsibility, especially as a leader.

Vera Mérő, Human Rights Defender, Writer, Journalist

Vera Mérő began publishing in Magyar Narancs in 2014. Her first book, Pornográcia (Pornocracy), exploring the relationship between pornography, female sexuality, feminism, evolutionary psychology, and society, was published in 2012. This was followed by her 2022 non-fiction novel Lúg. She was also a co-author of The Basics of Comprehensive Sexual Education – A Handbook for Teachers and Other Childcare Professionals.

From 2017 to 2019, she worked for Amnesty International Hungary, after which she hosted the morning current affairs show on Klubrádió for two years. Since 2023, she has been the editor and reporter of the Glamour Talks with Vera Mérő podcast, and a regular guest on 3 Angry People on Spirit FM.

Vera is the founder of the site and foundation “You are not responsible for it, but you can respond to it.” Her mission is to promote a human rights-based perspective in public discourse and to encourage both public attention and corporate behaviour to move in this direction. She currently publishes most frequently on her author Facebook page, in HVG print, and on Glamour’s online platform.

Antónia Mészáros – Executive Director @ UNICEF Hungary

Antónia Mészáros is the Executive Director of UNICEF Hungary, previously a journalist, tv anchor and documentary film director. She has worked in news, current affairs and documentaries in Hungarian media, as well as British Public Broadcasting. During her seven years at the BBC, she has worked at the prestigious prime time current affairs strand Panorama, Newsnight, Correspondent and other well known programmes.She covered wars, filmed in hostile environments and worked also as an investigative journalist. Antónia continued making documentaries for the BBC after her return to her native Hungary, in parallel to her on screen work for Hungarian Public Television. One of her films was selected „best of the year” by BBC World, another premiered in a cinema in front of King Charles. In 2006 she wrote a book about Eastern European migration to the UK. Over the years she has been selected as a European Young Leader, an Aspen Young Leader and a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and completed executive education courses at Harvard and Oxford University.

Zoltán Pogátsa

Economist, sociologist, and expert in international political economy.
He is an associate professor with habilitation at the University of Sopron and the author of numerous books and academic papers. He hosts the Pogi Podcast and Hatalmas Arcok podcasts.

Nóra Szalóczy – Healthcare Data Scientist and Artificial Intelligence Expert

Nóra Szalóczy is a healthcare data scientist and AI expert with over a decade of experience in data-driven healthcare innovation. Her work focuses on making artificial intelligence interpretable, reliable, and useful in clinical decision-making.

She plays an active role in education and awareness-raising. At Semmelweis University’s Health Services Management Training Centre, she is a program director and lecturer for the Data Science in Health MSc program, and at KÜRT Academy, she serves as the lead trainer for the AI in Diagnostics and AI in Business courses. Her teaching mission is to ensure that the responsible, human-centered, and ethical application of AI becomes an integral part of healthcare professional culture.

As co-founder of Theia Labs, she develops an AI-based ophthalmic diagnostic system that supports the early detection of vision-threatening conditions. Her professional credo is that technology truly serves health only when it strengthens human knowledge and decision-making.

Dr. Andrea Szegedi – Medoc Health Centre

Andrea is the owner and a board member of Medoc Health Centre. She is deeply committed to the fight against breast cancer. She is also a grief companion, a calling she found through the loss of her son and her own journey of mourning.

Currently, she is a participant in the international training program of Compassionate Inquiry®, the psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté.

Judit Szekeres – AI consultant and trainer, founder of swell

With over twenty years of international experience in marketing and content operations, she has worked with global brands such as Unilever, Shell, and Philip Morris International.
As a consultant, she focuses on the practical integration of AI to create genuine business value while keeping human values in focus.

She believes that even the most advanced technologies become truly meaningful through people – when their ideas and values give direction to innovation.

Norbert Túróczi – Head of HR Hungary, Tesco

A senior leader with over 15 years of HR experience in the retail and consulting sectors. Skilled in organizational development, compensation, and talent development. He began working on employer branding during his university years and established a dedicated team for this field at Tesco nearly five years ago. Later, he led a diverse team of over 50 HR professionals at a regional level. Since January 2024, he has been serving as the Country HR Director at Tesco.

Barbara Varga-Baráth – Co-founder, Bobcats Coding

Barbara is the co-founder and Chief Digital Officer (CDO) of Bobcats Coding, where she supports clients not only through digital product development but also by implementing AI-driven solutions. She is committed to advancing women’s participation in technology and is a founding member of the ShareIT Lab // Women in IT initiative.

Previously, she led the Hungarian parent company of Green Fox Academy, which has helped thousands of career changers enter the IT sector.

Zita Varga – Marketing Manager, Nokia Hungary

Zita is a creative problem solver, MBA student, and tea enthusiast.

She arrived in Hungary 16 years ago and has been with Nokia for 11 years. Starting as a technical copywriter, she progressed to project manager, then team leader, and is currently marketing manager. Alongside her diverse professional work, she has been a leader of the local women’s professional group for over four years, supporting women’s career advancement and organizing quarterly Women’s Career Meetups. This year, she founded an AI community at Nokia, hosting both quarterly meetups and online events, reaching over 300 colleagues so far. She also contributes to planning the local AI strategy, with the motto: “Solving it together!”
